Case Study 1: Darkwoods Forestry

How do you sell an amazingly stunning unique piece of property worth over $50 million in eastern BC with a limited design and print budget. Part of the criteria is the current owner wanted to sell the property to a steward who would keep the property in the pristine wild state that it is in.

The client wanted a basic brochure but we convinced them to go much further and to create a unique piece that would tell a story through thoughts and images because the property is unique in its own right. The brochure featured a die-cut maple leaf on the cover which showed actual maple leafs through the die-cut and on the following page. The words 'a unique opportunity' was used on the cover with the word 'unique' seen through the die-cut. The word 'unique' was used throughout the brochure in different contexts.

Everything just fell into place, the client loved our concept so much that the property sold within a few months and the brochure is still talked about.
